Acting work

PROCESSING (2022)

Dir. Tanner Richard Craft

Role: The Operator/The Man

This was my first “serious” movie after Diagnosis, and it was my first time directing myself in a dramatic performance. I haven’t had a lot of chances to do dramatic roles, but I sincerely feel like I knocked this one out of the park. It’s my finest work as an actor and I’m so tremendously proud of it. It won me my first award as an actor as well, which is one of the proudest achievements of my life.

Best Actor: 8 And HalFilm Awards - September Edition (Rome, Italy 2023)

MAGUIRE-MAN

Dir. Rein Conversi

Role: Luke

I helped develop the script for this one, and really let myself get into this character. There were moments on set that just felt electric, even a comedic, cartoon-y, over the top performance can lead to something really special, and this is no exception! Check it out!

The Cardinals Fan (2018)

Dir. Tanner Richard Craft

Role: Anon

This is a film I also wrote and directed. Playing a character who is essentially an irrational psychopath can be fun, but also can be exhausting. It takes a lot of mental power to feel so angry, but the performance helps the comedic tones of the film come off very strong.

Internet killed the internet star (2019)

Dir. Rein Conversi

Role: Dan

This is a film where I worked once again with Rein Conversi and I had an absolute blast making it. Rein let me completely improvise most of my dialogue and it really shaped the direction the story took in the first two acts. Rein felt I deserved a writing credit for that and I was honored to have that and it was an honor to do this film. Rein is the best director I’ve had the pleasure of working with.

CONSPIRACY-182 (2021)

Dir. Tanner Richard Craft

Role: Tony

This is a film where I once again acted in a project I directed, but this one was different because I played much more of a supporting role rather than the lead in this two-man scene. And it was a lot of fun playing the straight man to Austin’s deranged lunacy. I had so much fun in this role, and I think the final product is incredible!

Lung-Fu (2018)

Dir. Rein Conversi

Role: Super Garry

This was my first film role where someone else directed me, and it was a lot of fun. Being able to partake in what is essentially a cheesy action b-movie is incredible fun. It’s actually more difficult than it seems to act cheesy but still seem sincere, but I think I pulled it off quite well.

Purple Stuff (2018)

Dir. Joseph Vrenick

Role: Nikko

Now this is a role that required a lot of tapping into what I was when I was a 14 year old teenager. Nervousness and fear. This is my first, and still only, horror film. It was a lot of fun despite the long days, and I think the final product is dripping with style.

onwards and upwards (2021)

Dir. Tim M. Sullivan

Role: Tanner (Fictionalized)

This was a quick sketch we made over a Discord call in response to “The Great Facebook Outage of 2021.” It was loosely outline and largely improvised by me, the sketch was a ton of fun and it came out really great. Check it out!

Last Minute (2018)

Dir. Jackson Morrill

Role: Skeever

This is a part I had a lot of fun doing, the director of the film thinks my strength is immediately bringing a lot of intense energy into a scene, and I think I do that here in strides. This is was such a fun a shoot with a great director.

Escape From Reality

Role: Spencer

This is a role in a short film that was part of a larger anthology that has yet to be released. This part was a ton of fun, and the director and I did a lot of talking beforehand to flesh out the character and really define who he was as a person. The full feature anthology, that has yet to be named, will be released at some point.
